To place an order:

If you'd like to order a print, simply send me some email at webcontact2@butzi.net telling me which images you'd like to buy, and what size.  If you have any questions, ask away.  Many of the answers are below, but don't hesitate to ask if anything is less than completely clear.

Print Sizes and Pricing

I can make prints in virtually any size up to 40" on the short dimension.  Prices for several standard sizes are given below; prices for different sizes are on essentially the same price scale (e.g. a 14.2" x 17.75" print will cost more than an 10"x12.5" print and less than a 15"x18.75" print).  There is no pricing penalty for custom sizes.

Prices for 'normal' aspect ratio images (roughly 4:5)

approx  image size  price (US $)
5x6 40
7x9 55
9x11 75
10x13 95
13x16 150
14x17 185
20x25 400
25x31 795
30x38 1275
36x45 1970
40x50 2500

Prices for 'panoramic' images (aspect ratio roughly 2:1)

approx  image size  price (US $)
7x14 80
8x16 100
10x20 145
16x32 410
20x40 645
21x42 710
24x48 1315
36x72 3330
40x80 4180

These prices are for unmounted, unmatted prints, and do not include the cost of packaging and shipping.

To help diminish the risk of buying a print sight unseen, I am perfectly happy to 'upgrade' smaller prints to larger prints.  That is, if you buy a unmounted, unframed small print (say, a 5"x6.25" print), like it when you receive it, and decide that you'd really like to have a 20"x25" print instead, all you need to do is let me know, send me the difference between the cost of the two prints, and I'll send the larger print.  This way, you can order a small print to see what the image looks like on paper, and if you like it, 'upgrade' it to the size you'd really like.

In any case, if you receive a print and decide you don't like it for any reason, I'll happily refund your money less shipping costs.

Payment, shipping, returns

I use the following order process:

  1. You send email to webcontact2@butzi.net telling me which print you want, what size, and include your address so I can calculate shipping costs.  If you have a preference in shipping methods, let me know that as well.
  2. I send you email, telling you the print cost, the packing and shipping costs, and the total.  Packing costs are my actual costs for packing materials.  Shipping costs are my actual costs to ship the print to you.  I don't mark up print prices by tacking on fictitious packing or shipping charges.  If you want to pay via Paypal, I'll send you a paypal invoice to make that as simple as possible on your end.
  3. You send my complete payment.  I'll happily accept personal checks, money orders, and can bill you and accept payment via Paypal as well.
  4. When you receive the prints, you're free to inspect them, make sure you want them, etc.  If the prints don't meet with your approval for any reason, let me know and we'll make arrangements for the prints, and I'll return your money, less the cost of shipping the prints to you.
